Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: Goal streak stretches to five games

Matthews scored a goal and added an assist Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Wild. Both came on the power play.

Matthews redirected a cross-ice pass from Jason Spezza for a power-play goal to knot the game at threes late in the second. The goal extended his goal streak to five games; that's the sixth five-game goal streak of his career. Matthews has seven goals and two assists on the streak. He also has 27 shots in those five, including a whopping 16 in his last two games.
