Brown (undisclosed) will become an unrestricted free agent Monday after not receiving a qualifying offer from the Lightning, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Brown missed all of last season while stashed on long-term injured reserve but it's unclear what his current health status is. The last time he was on NHL ice was during the 2022-23 campaign, when he scored six points in 30 games with the Blues.
