Sparks stopped 33 of 35 shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Capitals.

It was a gutsy comeback win for the Kings, and Sparks' solid goaltending in the third period made it happen. The 28-year-old figures to serve as Jonathan Quick's backup during the duration of Cal Petersen's stay in the NHL's COVID-19 protocols. The Kings have one more game scheduled before the holiday break -- a tough road matchup versus the Golden Knights on Thursday.
