Despite the best efforts of the Kings' captain, Kopitar's team wound up on the wrong end of the decision in a wild afternoon contest that saw seven power-play goals scored in total. Kopitar already has two three-point performances in three games to begin the season. The 37-year-old still has plenty left in the tank after he delivered 26 goals and 70 points over 81 regular-season games in 2023-24.
