Perfetti is still a restricted free agent and consequently not taking part in the Jets' training camp, per Jacob Stoller of Sportsnet.ca.
Perfetti was the No. 10 overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft, but he hasn't enjoyed a breakout campaign yet. However, he did set career highs in 2023-24 with 19 goals and 38 points in 71 regular-season contests. While Perfetti might take another step forward this year, missing a significant portion or all of training camp would put him behind the curve and diminish his chances of having a good year.
