Martin signed a one-year deal with the Islanders on Saturday.
Martin, who spent the offseason with New York on a PTO, will now join the Islanders as they look to shake up their bottom six. The 35-year-old Martin played 57 games with the Islanders last season, where he tallied four goals, eight points and 151 hits in 57 games.
