Islanders' Grant Hutton: Put on waivers

Hutton was placed on waivers by the Islanders on Wednesday, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

Hutton has two assists over 12 outings with the Islanders in 2024-25. He was a healthy scratch for New York's past three games, so sending Hutton to AHL Bridgeport would provide him with an opportunity to get some ice time.
