Hurricanes' William Carrier: Suffers lower-body injury

Carrier is day-to-day with a lower-body injury suffered Thursday, Cory Lavalette of the North State Journal reports.

Carrier was in a lot of pain at the end of practice Thursday. The former Golden Knight, signed a six-year contract with the Hurricanes in the offseason and is expected to be a bottom-six forward this season. He had six goals, two assists and 89 hits in 39 games during the regular season with Vegas in 2023-24.
