Marino (upper body) will miss Friday's preseason contest against Vegas, according to Belle Fraser of The Salt Lake Tribune.
Marino had four goals and 25 points in 75 regular-season games with New Jersey in 2023-24. Provided he's healthy, the 27-year-old defenseman will likely open the campaign in a top-four capacity, but he probably won't see use on the power play.
