Tippett logged a power-play assist and five shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Oilers.
Tippett's helper was his first point in three games this season. He's contributed in other ways, racking up nine shots on net, 12 hits and four blocked shots while playing in a top-line role. Tippett posted a career-high 53 points in 78 regular-season contests in 2023-24, and if he can overcome his slow start, he should be capable of producing at a similar rate in 2024-25.
