Ducks' Jansen Harkins: Placed on waivers Friday

The Ducks placed Harkins on waivers Friday, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

This is a bit of a surprise as the Ducks inked Harkins to a two-year contract in the offseason. He had four assists in 45 regular-season games with the Penguins last season and should be sent to the minors, if he clears waivers.
