Lindgren made 17 saves in a 2-0 win over Boston on Saturday.
Lindgren wasn't busy Saturday, but he came up huge early in the final period with a point-blank save on Brett Harrison to keep the game 1-0. Lindgren's teammates added the insurance goal at 14:22 of the same frame. He was outstanding in the second half of last season and will be out to prove he can sustain that kind of performance during the 2024-25 campaign. Logan Thompson's arrival in a summer trade suggests the two netminders will share duties. Watch for a hot-hand approach rather than an alternating split, meaning fantasy managers may need extra leather in the blue paint to ensure plenty of starts.
