Brannstrom was summoned from AHL Abbotsford on Friday.
Brannstrom was sent to the minors Thursday, and his quick return to the team suggests his demotion was just a cap-saving move. The 25-year-old defenseman has three assists in two appearances with Abbotsford as well as an assist in three outings with Vancouver in 2024-25.
