Bains' promotion could be an indication that Elias Lindholm (undisclosed) will remain sidelined heading into Thursday's clash with Dallas. The 23-year-old Bains has played in just five NHL games this season in which he's tallied three shots, five hits and six PIM while averaging 12:57 of ice time.
