Frederic scored a goal on two shots, added four PIM and went minus-2 in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Panthers.

Frederic is no stranger to the rough stuff -- he had 204 hits and 69 PIM in addition to a breakout year with 40 points in 82 regular-season contests in 2023-24. The 26-year-old forward figures to be a consistent middle-six option for the Bruins this season. He also featured on the second power-play unit Tuesday, which could last throughout the campaign since the Bruins are relying on less proven options to fill out their bottom six. Frederic's biggest competition for power-play time is defenseman Hampus Lindholm, who is more likely to see time with the man advantage when the Bruins are nursing a lead.
