Saad is back in St. Louis for the birth of his child and was placed on non-roster injured reserve Monday.
Saad will be sidelined against Seattle on Tuesday and probably should be considered a doubt for the whole three-game road trip. Even once he links up with the team, the veteran winger will likely play in a middle-six role, though he could still see minutes with the man advantage.
