Bean (groin) was placed on injured reserve Monday.
Bean is not expected to be back until early March, so his designation for injured reserve shouldn't come as a surprise. With 15 points in 41 contests, the 23-year-old blueliner has already set personal bests in goals (four) and points (15) and should still have time to get over the 20-point threshold once cleared to return.
