Felhaber was waived by the Avalanche on Wednesday, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
Felhaber made his NHL debut Monday against the Canucks, recording a hit in 4:34 of ice time. He also has eight goals, 13 points and 59 PIM over 23 outings with AHL Colorado.
