Olausson was reassigned to the Colorado Eagles on Sunday.
Olausson will now develop his game at the AHL level and be a key player for the Colorado Eagles. The 21-year-old was a first-round pick by the Avalanche in the 2021 NHL Draft, but he's only appeared in two games with the big club. The Sweden native banked 20 points in 39 regular-season outings with AHL Colorado in 2023-24.
