Avalanche's Alexandar Georgiev: Guarding goal Saturday

Georgiev will be between the pipes in Saturday's home game against Columbus, per Avalanche play-by-play announcer Conor McGahey.

Georgiev allowed five goals on 16 shots in Wednesday's 8-4 loss to Vegas. In his lone appearance versus the Blue Jackets during the 2023-24 regular season, he stopped 23 shots in a 6-1 victory.
