Williams was waived by the Packers on Tuesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports. Williams saw some action on defense for the Packers early in the season but had seen just two special-teams snaps over the past four weeks. The team activated Ibraheim Campbell from PUP to take the 25-year-old's roster spot.... See More ... See Less

Tim Williams: Let go by Ravens
Williams was cut by the Ravens on Tuesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Williams was originally drafted in 2017 by Baltimore and recorded 18 total tackles and two sacks over 19 games. The Alabama product was originally poised for a bigger role this season, but it seems he'll have to find another opportunity elsewhere.... See More ... See Less -
Ravens' Tim Williams: Ready for expanded role
Williams and fellow 2017 draft pick Tyus Bowser are primed to handle larger roles after the Ravens lost Terrell Suggs to the Cardinals and Za'Darius Smith to the Packers, Ryan Mink of the team's official website reports. Williams was selected at No. 78 overall in 2017 after piling up 18.5 sacks in his final two seasons at Alabama. A strong depth chart in Baltimore has limited him to 244 defensive snaps through two NFL campaigns, but he did look good during the 2018 preseason and then added a pair of sacks in September. Williams battled foot, ankle and hamstring injuries through the rest of the season, but he regained his health by the end of the year and should be in the mix for regular snaps in 2019.... Ravens' Tim Williams: Listed as questionable
Williams (ankle) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chiefs. Williams has not seen the field since Week 8, but he appears to have a chance of suiting up against the Chiefs on Sunday. If the second-year pro is able to go, he may see rotational defensive snaps.... See More ... See Less -
Ravens' Tim Williams: Sidelined for Sunday's game
Williams (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's game versus the Raiders. Williams will miss his third straight game, but he was a reserve linebacker so it won't affect the defensive dynamic. Za'Darius Smith will be Terrell Suggs' primary backup.... See More ... See Less -
Ravens' Tim Williams: Will not play Sunday
Williams (thigh) is officially inactive for Sunday's game against the Titans. Williams was a full participant in practice this week, so this is a bit surprising although he was still listed as questionable. The rookie third-round pick has not played since Week 5, and being inactive Sunday could be a combination of the injury and the Ravens' linebacker corps being in good health.... See More ... Ravens' Tim Williams: Practices at full speed
Williams (thigh) was a full practice participant Wednesday and is in line to play Sunday against the Titans. The rookie third-round pick hasn't played since Week 5 against the Raiders. Williams has just three solo tackles this season in very limited time, so fantasy owners should look elsewhere until he can climb the depth chart.... See More ... See Less -
Ravens' Tim Williams: Suiting up Week 2
Williams (illness) is active for Sunday's matchup against the Browns. Williams missed a bit of practice time this week due to illness, but it won't stop him from suiting up for the Week 2 matchup. Though he'll be active, it's worth noting that the rookie is buried on the depth chart, and didn't have a role in the season opener.... See More ... See Less -
Ravens' Tim Williams: Shining in camp
Williams is off to a strong start in training camp, Garrett Downing of the team's official website reports. The rookie out of Alabama dropped to the third round in this year's draft amid off-field concerns, but his performance on the field has been one of the more notable non-injury developments to this point in Baltimore's training camp. According to Downing, Williams has been a regular presence in the backfield since the team began padded practice, using a multitude of techniques to beat offensive tackles and get penetration. "Great quick-twitch. He's just what we thought...He's the guy that we drafted," said defensive coordinator Dean Pees in an interview with the Baltimore Sun. Williams still has his work cut out for himself in order to make an impact as a rookie, but early reports suggest he might be further along than second-rounder Tyus Bowser in his development....
