Knight was waived by the Lions on Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Knight is headed to waivers after rushing the ball three times for 13 yards in two games for Detroit last season. With Jahmyr Gibbs (hamstring) and Craig Reynolds (leg) both dealing with injuries, Knight could land on the practice squad if he clears waivers.
