The Titans claimed Long off waivers Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Long was waived by the Lions on Tuesday but will join his third team of the season after having spent time with the Dolphins as well. He should provide much-needed help at linebacker for the Titans who have been decimated by injuries at the position.
