Mercilus was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Mercilus missed the last two games of the regular season after landing on the team's reserve/COVID-19 list. The linebacker racked up 21 tackles (12 solo), five sacks and three forced fumbles this season.
