Texans' Chris Moore: Remaining in Houston

Moore signed a one-year, $1.2 million contract with the Texans on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

Moore began the 2021 campaign on the Texans' practice squad and was elevated to the active roster for several games early in the season before landing a permanent roster spot in mid-October. He showed glimpses of potential, including his Week 5 performance against the Patriots in which he hauled in all five of his targets for 109 yards and a touchdown. The 28-year-old will presumably have to compete for a roster spot once again during training camp in 2022.
