Black was waived/injured by the Steelers on Tuesday with an undisclosed injury.
There is no word on the specific nature of Black's injury, nor the severity. If he ultimately goes unclaimed off waivers, the pass catcher would revert to Pittsburgh's injured reserve. From there, his season would be over unless both parties end up coming to terms on an injury settlement down the line.
