The Steelers signed Maulet to a contract Friday, Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Maulet spent the last two seasons with the Jets, logging 67 total tackles across 23 appearances over that span. Maulet also previously played for the Saints and Colts.
