The Seahawks placed Williams (personal) on the reserve/retired list Saturday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Williams' decision to retire was abruptly announced by head coach Mike Macdonald Friday. Williams , who was selected by the Cowboys in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft, will end his NFL career having played 92 games (86 starts) across seven regular seasons.
