Burns suffered a foot injury in Thursday's Week 6 game against San Francisco and has been ruled out for the remainder of the contest, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
Burns was hurt during the second half and was ruled out in the fourth quarter. The 29-year-old was playing in his first game of the campaign Thursday. Burns logged one tackle and two pass defenses prior to his exit.
