McCoy (calf) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
McCoy suffered the injury in the Saints' Week 9 loss to Baltimore and has failed to practice in any capacity since. He'll now be forced to miss the team's next four games, meaning the earliest he can return is Week 15 against the Falcons.
