Meyers recorded seven receptions on nine targets for 62 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 36-22 loss to the Panthers.

The stat line suggests that Meyers took a significant step forward in opportunity, though how he got to those numbers is less inspiring. He had just one catch for zero yards at the start of the fourth quarter. With the Raiders down 33-7, Meyers went on to record a 13-yard touchdown and another lengthy reception of 16 yards -- the latter of which came from backup quarterback Aidan O'Connell -- to account for a significant amount of his production. Meyers will maintain a role in the offense moving forward, but it's likely to be a more peripheral role behind both Davante Adams and Brock Bowers.
