Patriots' Tyquan Thornton: Limited role Sunday

Thornton logged 13 of a possible 64 snaps on offense in Sunday's 30-13 loss to the 49ers, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Thornton failed to catch his only target Sunday, and was out-snapped in the contest by Ja'Lynn Polk (53), K.J. Osborn (42), DeMario Douglas (38) and even Kayshon Boutte (15). With Kendrick Bourne (knee) progressing toward a return to action soon, Thornton's path to fantasy relevance is getting increasingly narrow.
