The Lions elevated Kennedy from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
Kennedy will provide additional depth at wide receiver after Isaiah Williams (abdomen) was ruled out for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. Kennedy played 10 snaps (four on offense, six on special teams) and did not record a catch during the Lions' Week 1 overtime win over the Rams.
