Clay (foot) was revealed to have suffered a broken foot, Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun reports.
Clay suffered a foot injury during practice Saturday, but the nature of which was previously undisclosed. However, he was considered lost for the season from the start, which is why he was released with an injury designation Monday.
