Jerry Jacobs: Let go with injury settlement

The Rams waived Jacobs (undisclosed) with an injury settlement Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Jacobs did not suit up for the Rams' preseason game against the Chargers on Saturday. He played in 15 regular-season games with the Lions in 2023, finishing the season with a career-high 55 tackles (49 solo), eight passes defended and three interceptions. Once healthy, Jacobs will look to catch on with a team in need of depth in the secondary.
