Welcome to the Jets waiver wire. Gang Green is about to be highly popular in Week 12 with Elijah Moore, Ty Johnson, Tevin Coleman and Jamison Crowder all seeing their roster percentage rise.

Moore (61 percent rostered) should be the prize of the waiver wire where still available. We've been saying to add him for weeks, and he just continues to produce with at least 12 PPR points in four games in a row, including two games with at least 27 PPR points over that span.

Zach Wilson is back under center for the Jets, and he needs to continue to feature Moore, who has at least six targets in each of his past five games. Moore should be considered a No. 2 Fantasy receiver in all leagues in Week 12 against the Texans, who have allowed nine receivers to score at least 11 PPR points in their past four games.

That matchup at Houston should help Crowder (46 percent) as well, and he can be a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in deeper leagues. Crowder has two games with 16 PPR points in his past four games, including three games over that span with at least seven targets and five catches.

The backfield for the Jets is wide open now with Michael Carter (ankle) out for at least two weeks, and we're headed for a committee with Johnson and Coleman. Most likely, Coleman will play on rushing downs, with Johnson continuing to have a role in the passing game.

Based on the Jets offense this season, I like Johnson (38 percent) better than Coleman (4 percent). Johnson, in tandem with Carter, scored at least 11 PPR points in four of his past six games, including three games with at least five catches over that span.

Johnson should be considered a high-end flex option against the Texans, who have allowed a running back to score a touchdown in seven of their past eight games. Maybe that helps Coleman as well, although he hasn't done much this season and missed four games due to injury. Coleman is a low-end flex option in Week 12.

Aside from the Jets, there are plenty of other guys to add off the waiver wire, so let's get to it.

Editor's note: For this waiver wire column, we are only looking at players rostered in less than 65 percent of CBS Sports leagues.

Week 12 Waivers
WAIVER WIRE
Quarterbacks
  • Injuries: Kyler Murray (ankle), Lamar Jackson (illness), Justin Fields (ribs), Baker Mayfield (shoulder), Jared Goff (oblique) and Zach Wilson (knee).
  • On a bye: Patrick Mahomes and Kyler Murray
  • Check to see if available: Cam Newton (73 percent rostered) and Jimmy Garoppolo (66 percent). In Newton's first start he scored 29 Fantasy points against Washington in Week 11, and now he faces a Dolphins defense in Week 12 that allows the fifth-most Fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this year. ... Garoppolo is averaging 21.8 Fantasy points per game in his past four outings, and now he faces a Vikings defense in Week 12 that allows the seventh-most Fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this year.
  • Drop candidates: Ryan Tannehill (98 percent rostered), Mac Jones (61 percent) and Justin Fields (49 percent). Tannehill could be down his top three receivers (A.J. Brown, Julio Jones and Marcus Johnson) in Week 12 against the Patriots, and the Titans have a bye in Week 13. If you're not starting Tannehill this week, you can safely drop him. ... Jones has one game with more than 12 Fantasy points in his past four outings and isn't a trustworthy Fantasy option in Week 12 against the Titans and likely in Week 13 at Buffalo. The Patriots then have a bye in Week 14, so Jones is a drop candidate if you're not using him in one-quarterback leagues. ... Fields is out for Week 12 at Detroit with injured ribs, and then his schedule gets tough with games against Arizona in Week 13 and at Green Bay in Week 14. It's safe to drop him in one-quarterback seasonal leagues.

I'm hopeful that Roethlisberger is coming around as a Fantasy quarterback after he's scored at least 20 Fantasy points in each of his past two games. He's not a must-start quarterback yet in one-quarterback leagues, but hopefully we get a shootout with the Bengals and Steelers in Week 12. And then his schedule looks really favorable with games against Baltimore, Minnesota, Tennessee, Kansas City, Cleveland and Baltimore again to close the season. He's worth adding for 1 percent of your FAAB budget.

Heinicke scored 28 Fantasy points at Carolina in Week 11, and hopefully he stays hot against Seattle in Week 12 at home Monday night. The Seahawks just allowed 26 Fantasy points against Colt McCoy in Week 11 at home, and Seattle's team looks like it's falling apart. Heinicke isn't a must-start quarterback in one-quarterback leagues, but he could be a useful streamer. He's worth 1 percent of your FAAB.

Taylor scored 18 Fantasy points in Week 11 at Tennessee, and now he gets a favorable schedule ahead with the Jets in Week 12 and the Colts in Week 13. The Jets have allowed six quarterbacks in a row to score at least 21 Fantasy points, and Taylor is worth using as a streaming option for 1 percent of your FAAB.

Dalton will start Thursday's game against Detroit in Week 12 with Fields hurt, and hopefully Dalton picks up where he left off against the Ravens in Week 11 when he scored 20 Fantasy points. He's worth using as a streaming option in deeper one-quarterback leagues and should be added in all two-quarterback and Superflex leagues. The only concern would be the Bears not throwing a lot against the Lions, which would limit Dalton's upside, and then Fields could return in Week 12. Dalton is worth up to 10 percent of your FAAB in two-quarterback and Superflex leagues and 1 percent of your FAAB in one-quarterback formats.

He could be starting for the Saints soon if Trevor Siemian continues to struggle, which could happen again in Week 12 against Buffalo. Hill was great as a Fantasy quarterback last season when he started four games for an injured Drew Brees, scoring at least 22 Fantasy points in three of those outings. He's worth adding now for 1 percent of your FAAB.

Running Backs
  • Injuries: Ezekiel Elliott (knee), Alvin Kamara (knee), Aaron Jones (knee), Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle), Michael Carter (ankle), Elijah Mitchell (finger), Mark Ingram (knee), Kareem Hunt (calf), Chase Edmonds (ankle), Derrick Henry (foot), Jordan Howard (knee), Jeremy McNichols (concussion) and Rashaad Penny (hamstring).
  • On a bye: Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Darrel Williams, James Conner and Eno Benjamin.
  • Check to see if available: Miles Sanders (83 percent rostered) and J.D. McKissic (76 percent). Sanders came back from his three-game absence with an ankle injury and had 16 carries for 94 yards with a lost fumble, and now Howard is hurt. Sanders is back as a starting Fantasy option in all leagues for Week 12 at the Giants. ... McKissic has a great matchup in Week 12 against Seattle since the Seahawks are one of seven teams to allow at least 70 receptions to running backs this year. He's a good flex in all formats against Seattle, with his value higher in PPR.
  • Drop candidates: Devin Singletary (79 percent rostered), Mike Davis (77 percent) and Adrian Peterson (67 percent). You can make a case that Singletary and Zack Moss (79 percent) are worth dropping now that Matt Breida is getting touches in Buffalo's backfield, but I still like Moss more long-term. Buffalo has a tough upcoming schedule for its backfield against the Saints, Patriots, Buccaneers, Panthers and Patriots in the next five games. ... Davis didn't get a bump in Week 11 against the Patriots with Patterson out, and he's now scored five PPR points or less in four of his past five games. It's hard to have faith in Davis even in Week 12 against the Jaguars, especially if Patterson is back. ... Peterson failed to deliver against the Texans in Week 11 and has now scored 18 PPR points in three games since coming to Houston. You can't trust him in Week 12 at the Patriots, and then Tennessee is on bye in Week 13. It's easy to drop Peterson in most leagues.

The Jets have a need at running back with Carter expected to miss 2-3 weeks, which is a boost for Johnson and Tevin Coleman (4 percent rostered). Most likely, Coleman will play on rushing downs, with Johnson continuing to have a role in the passing game. Based on the Jets offense this season, I like Johnson better than Coleman. Johnson, in tandem with Carter, scored at least 11 PPR points in four of his past six games, including three games with at least five catches over that span. Coleman hasn't done much this season and missed four games due to injury but is likely going to run between the tackles. This week, the Jets face the Texans, who have allowed a running back to score a touchdown in seven of their past eight games. Johnson is a flex this week and worth 10 percent of your FAAB budget, and Coleman is a desperation play in deeper leagues worth 1 percent of your FAAB.

Hilliard might get replaced by McNichols if he returns this week. But if Hilliard remains in the pass-catching role for Tennessee's backfield, he has flex potential against the Patriots in Week 12. New England is among the league leaders in receptions allowed to running backs this year, and the Titans need help in the passing game if A.J. Brown, Julio Jones and Marcus Johnson are all out this week. Hilliard had seven carries for 35 yards in Week 11 against Houston, along with eight catches for 47 yards on 10 targets. Hilliard is worth up to 5 percent of your FAAB.

The Texans have the best matchup of any backfield in Week 12 against the Jets, who are No. 1 in Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs. That should hopefully be good for Johnson and Rex Burkhead (7 percent rostered). The downside is both running backs just aren't that good this year. Johnson just had 16 total touches in Week 11 at Tennessee (three catches) but scored only five PPR points. And Burkhead had 18 carries for 40 yards with no catches. I like Johnson better in PPR, with Burkhead slightly better in non-PPR, but both Texans are just flex options at best and worth up to 5 percent of your FAAB budget.

The Eagles have become a run-first team, and Scott should help Sanders with Howard out. Prior to Sanders returning in Week 11 against the Saints, with Sanders out, he scored at least 12 PPR points in two of his previous three games, with at least 10 catches in each outing. Seattle's offense is a mess, and the team is searching for any sort of spark. Maybe Dallas gets a bigger role in the backfield with Alex Collins struggling and now Penny hurt. And if Collins misses any time and Penny is out, Dallas could be the starter for Seattle. In Week 11 against Arizona, Dallas had four carries for 25 yards and a touchdown, along with one catch for 2 yards on two targets. He's worth speculating on with up to 5 percent of your FAAB.

Murray returned in Week 11 at Chicago following a three-game absence with an ankle injury and had 10 carries for 32 yards, along with two catches for 1 yard on two targets. He played behind Devonta Freeman, and Freeman should remain the lead running back in Baltimore. Still, you should add Murray if you have an open roster spot since he has a prominent role on a run-heavy team. He could also remain the goal-line option for the Ravens moving forward and is worth up to 5 percent of your FAAB.

Breida has made the most of his chances the past two weeks for the Bills. In Week 10 at the Jets he had six touches (three catches) for 50 total yards and two touchdowns. And in Week 11 against the Colts he averaged 10.1 yards per rush on five carries, with one catch for 16 yards. We'll see if he continues to take touches away from Zack Moss and Devin Singletary, and he's worth adding for 1 percent of your FAAB in deeper leagues. Michel is worth adding as a handcuff for Darrell Henderson or as a potential lottery ticket in case Henderson gets hurt. He doesn't have much standalone value if Henderson is healthy, but Michel had one game this season with Henderson out and got 23 total touches against Tampa Bay in Week 3. I'm hopeful Patterson returns in Week 12 against Jacksonville to bring back Atlanta's best backfield option, but if he's out then look at Ollison in deeper leagues. He had the most carries for the Falcons in Week 11 against New England with nine and added two catches, although he finished with just 34 total yards. Still, he should get more work against the Jaguars if the score isn't lopsided, and Ollison could be a flex option in deeper leagues. He's worth 1 percent of your FAAB.

  • On a bye: Tyreek Hill, Mecole Hardman, Byron Pringle, DeAndre Hopkins, Christian Kirk, A.J. Green and Rondale Moore.
  • Check to see if available: Brandon Aiyuk (80 percent rostered), Darnell Mooney (80 percent), Rashod Bateman (79 percent) and Michael Gallup (77 percent). Aiyuk should be rostered in all leagues and is back as a No. 2 Fantasy receiver. He's scored at least 18 PPR points in two of his past three games and has at least seven targets in three of his past four outings heading into a favorable matchup with the Vikings in Week 12. ... Mooney is the No. 1 receiver for the Bears, especially with Robinson hurt, and he scored at least 12 PPR points in four of his past five games. In Week 11 against Baltimore with Robinson out, Mooney had five catches for 121 yards and a touchdown on a whopping 16 targets. And now he faces Detroit in Week 12. ... Bateman could be the No. 1 receiver for the Ravens in Week 12 against the Browns if Marquise Brown remains out. Bateman had 14 PPR points in his last game with a healthy Lamar Jackson in Week 10 at Miami, and he's a borderline starter against Cleveland if Brown is out again and Jackson returns from his one-game absence due to an illness. ... Gallup will likely be the No. 1 receiver for Dallas in Week 12 against the Raiders with Lamb and Cooper both likely out. With Cooper out in Week 11 at Kansas City and Lamb hurt at halftime, Gallup had 10 targets but managed just five catches for 44 yards. Still, I like him as a borderline Fantasy starter in all leagues against Las Vegas if he's the No. 1 option for Dak Prescott because of Lamb and Cooper being out.
  • Drop candidates: Jarvis Landry (87 percent rostered), Allen Robinson (68 percent), Julio Jones (67 percent), Donovan Peoples-Jones (66 percent) and A.J. Green (64 percent). Landry is playing in pain and is hard to trust, even in a favorable matchup against Baltimore in Week 12. Cleveland then has a bye in Week 13. Peoples-Jones might not play in Week 12 and will be tough to trust even if he's active. Both Browns receivers are also struggling because Baker Mayfield is playing through multiple injuries. ... Robinson might not play Thursday and has struggled when healthy. There's little reason to roster him while he's hurt, and he's yet to top 10 PPR points in any game this year. ... Jones is only worth stashing if you have an IR spot. He's out for Week 12 at New England and then the Titans have a bye in Week 13. ... Green isn't worth holding with Arizona on a bye in Week 12. He only has one touchdown since Week 4.

And it would be great if Daniel Jones continues to lean on Toney against the Eagles like he did against the Buccaneers with seven catches for 40 yards on 12 targets. It will help Toney if Shepard remains out, but we love the targets for Toney. Now, he just needs to do more once he gets the ball in his hands. He's worth adding for 5 percent of your FAAB. He's worth using as a No. 3 PPR receiver in deeper leagues against the Jaguars in Week 12 for 1 percent of your FAAB.

Tight Ends
  • Injuries: Logan Thomas (hamstring), Ricky Seals-Jones (hip) and Adam Trautman (knee).
  • On a bye: Travis Kelce and Zach Ertz.
  • Check to see if available: Pat Freiermuth (83 percent rostered) and Noah Fant (75 percent). Freiermuth continues to produce and has scored at least 11 PPR points in three of his past four games, and the one time he failed to reach that mark was when Roethlisberger was on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Freiermuth has at least six targets in five games in a row and has become a must-start Fantasy tight end in all leagues. ... Fant comes off his bye with a great matchup against the Chargers, who are No. 2 in Fantasy points allowed to tight ends. Fant hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 6, but the Chargers have allowed four touchdowns to tight ends in their past two games.
  • Drop candidates: Jared Cook (58 percent rostered), C.J. Uzomah (53 percent) and Tyler Conklin (43 percent). Cook hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 6 and has combined for just 21 PPR points in his past four games. He's also been at five targets or less in each of those outings. ... Uzomah isn't going to help you when he doesn't score, and he hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 7. In his past three games he's combined for just 15 PPR points and 12 targets. ... Conklin was great in Week 10 against the Chargers with 16 PPR points, but I expected him to struggle in Week 11 against Green Bay, which happened with just six PPR points on three catches for 35 yards and three targets. He has another tough matchup in Week 12 at San Francisco, so you can drop him if needed.

Thomas is expected to practice this week and hopefully play for the first time since getting hurt early in Week 4. He scored at least nine PPR points in his first three games this season, with two touchdowns over that span, and he should return as a low-end starter in all Fantasy leagues. He also has a great schedule coming up against Seattle, Las Vegas, Dallas twice and Philadelphia twice in his next six games. Thomas is worth 5 percent of your FAAB budget.

Engram had his two-game scoring streak snapped in Monday night's loss at Tampa Bay, but there's a great opportunity to rebound in Week 12 against the Eagles. Philadelphia is No. 1 in Fantasy points allowed to tight ends, and the Eagles have allowed a tight end to score or gain at least 77 receiving yards in nine games in a row, with nine touchdowns over that span. Engram is a great streaming option for Week 12 and worth up to 5 percent of your FAAB.

Kmet was a dud in Week 11 against Baltimore with one catch for 12 yards on two targets, but I'll give him another chance in Week 12 against the Lions. Prior to Week 11, Kmet had six catches for 87 yards on eight targets against the Steelers in Week 10 and went three games in a row with at least six targets. Kmet should still be a popular target for Andy Dalton against the Lions on Thanksgiving Day, especially with Allen Robinson (hamstring) still hurt. Kmet is worth 1 percent of your FAAB.

Hooper has benefited with injuries to the Browns wide receiver corps and the absence of Odell Beckham with 12 targets in his past two games against the Patriots and Lions. He scored 21 PPR points over that span with eight catches for 78 yards and a touchdown, and he can be used as a streaming option in deeper leagues in Week 12 against the Ravens, who are No. 6 in Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. Hooper is worth 1 percent of your FAAB.

Johnson gets a boost in Fantasy value with Trautman out, and we'll see if the Saints start giving him the targets Trautman leaves behind. Trautman had at least six targets in four games in a row, and it would be great if Johnson got the chance to show off his abilities. He had three touchdowns in his first four games, but he's been mostly a non-factor since then. Still, with Trautman out, there's an opportunity for him to produce, and he's worth 1 percent of your FAAB in deeper leagues.
