Commanders' Colson Yankoff: Joins Commanders

Yankoff and the Commanders agreed on a contract Monday.

Yankoff will head to Washington as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA. The 6-foot-3, 233-pound Yankoff played running back during his final two seasons of college, but the Commanders are listing him as a tight end as he embarks on a professional career. In any case, Yankoff's ability to crack the Commanders' 53-man roster heading into Week 1 will likely hinge on him establishing himself as a key part of the team's coverage units on special teams during training camp and the preseason.
