Taylor carried the ball 29 times for 170 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 27-17 win over the Patriots.
The Colts held a 17-0 lead at halftime thanks to a special-teams TD and a bit of trickery to Nyheim Hines, but Taylor was still able to grind his way to another 100-yard performance while the team killed the clock in the second half -- until he erupted for a 67-yard touchdown run with two minutes left in the game, squashing any hope New England might have had of a comeback. Taylor has 19 TDs on the season, leaving him one short of the Colts' franchise record of 20 set by Lenny Moore in 1964, and his 11 consecutive games with a rushing TD ties the single-season NFL record held by LaDainian Tomlinson and John Riggins, although Tomlinson's overall record of 14 straight games across two seasons remains a little further down the road. Taylor will look to keep tracking down history in Week 16 against the Cardinals.
