Bailey (knee) said Thursday that he expects to receive medical clearance in time to participate without restriction in preseason drills, Alex Marvez of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Bailey is recovering from an ACL tear sustained in September, but it looks as though he's on track for Week 1, barring any setbacks. The rookie seventh-round pick showcased big-play ability from 2016-18 at Purdue, where he averaged 100-plus tackles per season while racking up a total of 16.5 sacks.
