Head coach Matt Nagy said Foles will serve as the Bears' No. 2 quarterback Sunday against the Giants, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.
While both Justin Fields (ankle) and Andy Dalton (hand) were sidelined last week in Seattle, Foles stepped into a starting role in what was his first appearance of the season. The 32-year-old acquitted himself well as a starter, completing 24 of 35 attempts for 250 yards and a touchdown while committing no turnovers in the Bears' 25-24 win. Though Fields is listed as questionable but not expected to play this week after managing nothing more than limited participation in practice, Foles will move down a spot on the depth chart after Dalton received a clean bill of health.
