Top 2020 Fantasy football Dynasty picks
One player Engel is extremely high on in his Fantasy football dynasty rankings 2020: Cardinals running back Kenyan Drake. The third-round draft pick in 2016, Drake turned in immediate returns when Miami traded him to Arizona after six games last season.
Drake piled up 643 rushing yards and eight touchdowns in his final eight games of 2020 with Arizona, including a 110-yard, one-touchdown performance just three days after his trade went through. The Cardinals hope Drake's value will continue to be bolstered by his pass-catching ability, as he has hauled in 144 passes for 1,707 yards and six touchdowns in four NFL seasons. That versatility is why Arizona awarded Drake with a one-year, $8.5 million deal for 2020 and also traded David Johnson away to free up more touches. Engel lists him as a top-15 back.
And a massive shocker: Engel says Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green, whose 8,907 receiving yards rank fourth since he entered the NFL, barely cracks the top 50 at his position.
Green has been one of the NFL's most productive receivers since the Bengals drafted him in 2011. He is second in franchise history in total receptions (602), receiving yards (8,907) and receiving touchdowns (63). But Green didn't play during the 2019 season after tearing multiple ligaments in his left ankle during the first practice of the preseason. Since 2016, Green has missed 29 games due to injury and has been unavailable for 23 of Cincinnati's last 24 games.
The Bengals plan to use their franchise tag on Green, which is estimated to be worth about $18.5 million, and the team hopes to reach a long-term deal with their talented receiver. Still, he will be 32 years old and running on a reconstructed ankle.
