Poole (elbow) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Heat. A right elbow contusion will prevent Poole from playing in Sunday's regular-season finale. The 2019 first-round pick will finish the 2024-25 regular season averaging a career-best 20.5 points per game while shooing 37.8 percent from three-point range. Poole has two years remaining on his four-year, $128 million contract he signed with the Warriors in October of 2023.... See More ... See Less

Wizards' Jordan Poole: Remaining sidelined against Chicago
Poole (elbow) won't play in Friday's game versus the Bulls. Poole will miss his second straight contest Friday due to a right elbow contusion. AJ Johnson will likely draw another start in his absence. Sunday's matchup with Miami is Poole's last chance to suit up this season.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Jordan Poole: Will not play Wednesday
Poole will not play Wednesday against the 76ers due to a right elbow contusion. Wednesday's game is the second leg of a back-to-back set, and the Wizards will be taking a cautious approach here. Poole's workloads have been lightened lately, with the guard averaging 20.0 points, 4.0 assists, 1.7 rebounds and 3.4 three-pointers in 23.7 minutes over his last seven outings.... See More ... Wizards' Jordan Poole: Scores 19 points Tuesday
Poole ended with 19 points (7-14 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and three assists in 19 minutes during Tuesday's 104-98 loss to the Pacers. Poole aims to end the season on a strong note, and the veteran guard has now reached the 19-point plateau in three of his last four contests -- a span in which he's shooting an impressive 52.5 percent from the floor and 38.9 percent from deep. Even though the Wizards are in tank mode, Poole is expected to remain available for the final games of the regular season.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Jordan Poole: Good to go against Boston
Poole (elbow) isn't on the injury report for Sunday's game versus the Wizards. Poole will return to action Sunday after missing Washington's previous contest due to right elbow injury management. Poole should reclaim his starting spot from Marcus Smart against Boston.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Jordan Poole: Won't play Thursday
Poole has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Magic due to right elbow contusion injury management. Poole will miss his first game for the Wizards since March 5, with his absence seemingly being more of a rest day in the second leg of a back-to-back set. He's one of seven players that the Wizards have already ruled out for Thursday, leaving plenty of minutes up for grabs. Bub Carrington and AJ Johnson are likely to serve as the Wizards' primary playmakers out of the backcourt.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Jordan Poole: Erupts for 35 points in loss
Poole finished Monday's 120-94 loss to Miami with 35 points (10-17 FG, 7-13 3Pt, 8-9 FT), three rebounds, four assists and two steals in 29 minutes. Poole put together his best scoring performance since Feb. 12 against the Pacers, when he dropped 42 points in 41 minutes of play, but it wasn't enough to keep the matchup remotely close. Still, this was a positive sign for the Michigan product, who was held to 12 points in his last appearance Saturday against the Nets and has generally been quiet of late, averaging 16.0 points and 1.3 rebounds in his last three games prior to Monday's showing.... Wizards' Jordan Poole: Scores 18 in blowout loss
Poole supplied 18 points (6-13 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three assists and two steals in 24 minutes during Thursday's 162-109 loss to the Pacers. Poole was one of the few standout performers for the Wizards in this win, although it's hard to single anyone out following a 53-point defeat. At least Poole managed to extend his solid stretch of play in recent games, and he's now scored at least 18 points in five straight outings following a couple of subpar showings following the All-Star break. Poole should remain one of the Wizards' go-to options on offense every time he's on the court.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Jordan Poole: Bounces back with 25-point effort
Poole produced 25 points (9-17 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds and three assists in 28 minutes during Saturday's 122-103 loss to New York. Poole snapped a seven-game stretch in which he couldn't reach the 20-point mark and did it with an efficient performance, but his solid scoring output wasn't enough to lift the Wizards past the Knicks. Fantasy managers are certainly expecting better numbers from Poole, who's averaging only 17.8 points per game since the All-Star break compared to 21.2 points per contest in the first half of the campaign.... Wizards' Jordan Poole: Scores 18 points in loss
Poole chipped in 18 points (7-13 FG, 4-8 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and one steal over 27 minutes during Friday's 120-105 loss to Orlando. Poole didn't do much outside of scoring, and the veteran guard isn't bringing much to the table for a reeling Wizards team already thinking about the 2025-26 season. Poole's struggles have been noticeable in recent games, too. He's gone seven straight games without reaching the 20-point plateau, and he's shooting just 40.7 percent from the floor, and 34.5 percent from three-point range, over that stretch.... See More ... Wizards' Jordan Poole: Limited in miserable shooting night
Poole (elbow) finished with two points (1-11 FG, 0-9 3Pt), two rebounds and five assists in 20 minutes during Wednesday's 128-112 loss to the Jazz. Poole played through an elbow injury Wednesday, but it's fair to wonder if he was hampered at all during a miserable shooting night. The combo guard has now failed to hit double figures in scoring in consecutive outings, and it appears the rebuilding Wizards are beginning to manage his workload significantly. Poole was limited to 11 minutes in Monday's game against Portland, so his playing time will be something for fantasy managers to monitor in the closing weeks.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Jordan Poole: Available to play
Poole (elbow) is available for Wednesday's game against the Jazz. This will be Poole's second status upgrade, as he was originally listed as doubtful on the first injury report. With Poole and Marcus Smart (illness) available, players like Bub Carrington, AJ Johnson and Jaylen Martin won't offer as much fantasy upside.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Jordan Poole: Upgraded to questionable
Poole (elbow) has been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday's game against Utah. Poole, who was initially considered doubtful to play, is trending in the right direction. Marcus Smart (illness) is considered questionable to suit up as well. If either player is held out, guys like AJ Johnson and Jaylen Martin could step into larger roles for Washington.... See More ... Wizards' Jordan Poole: Unlikely to play against Utah
Poole is listed as doubtful for Wednesday's game versus the Jazz due to a right elbow contusion. Poole is expected to miss Wednesday's contest due to an elbow injury after suiting up in each of Washington's last six contests. If Poole is further downgraded to out, Bub Carrington will likely receive increased playing time.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Jordan Poole: Sees limited run
Poole totaled nine points (3-6 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound, one assist and one steal over 11 minutes during Monday's 112-97 loss to Portland. This was a bizarre game for the Wizards, as Poole and Khris Middleton were both pulled at halftime with 11 minutes apiece. The Wizards used an 11-man rotation, giving extended run to guys like Jaylen Martin and AJ Johnson. If Monday was any indication, Washington could be a fantasy mess in the final weeks.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Jordan Poole: Limited to 23 minutes Monday
Poole notched 16 points (6-12 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 23 minutes during Monday's 119-104 loss to the Raptors. Poole recorded an impressive 34-point effort in his return to the lineup against Toronto on Saturday, but he couldn't repeat the same numbers against the same opponent two days later. Poole is an accomplished scorer but lacks consistency on a game-to-game basis to move into the next level of his career. He's averaging 22.7 points per game since the beginning of February, but it's worth noting he's surpassed the 20-point mark just six times over that 13-game stretch.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Jordan Poole: Pours in 34 in return to lineup
Poole posted 34 points (12-20 FG, 7-12 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds, five assists, one block and three steals in 31 minutes during Saturday's 118-117 win over the Raptors. The 25-year-old guard had missed the prior three games with a sore elbow, but Poole's shooting was on point Saturday as he led all scorers on the night. He's topped 30 points three times in his last nine appearances, and the seven made three-pointers represented his best performance from long distance since a revenge game against the Warriors on Jan. 18, when an 8-for-15 effort from beyond the arc fueled a 38-point eruption.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Jordan Poole: Will play Saturday
Poole has been cleared to play in Saturday's game against the Raptors. Poole will return to the floor Saturday for the Wizards after missing the last three games. The 25-year-old guard is averaging career-high numbers in points (21.0), assists (4.8) and steals (1.4) this season while also shooting a career-high 37 percent from beyond the arc .... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Jordan Poole: Iffy for Saturday
Poole (elbow) has been listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Raptors. Poole has missed the last three games for the Wizards due to soreness in his right elbow. If he's unable to play in Toronto, Washington will likely turn to Marcus Smart to shoulder the load in the backcourt, along with Bub Carrington, who'll be filling in for Malcolm Brogdon (ankle).... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Jordan Poole: Practices Friday
Head coach Brian Keefe said that Poole (elbow) participated in Friday's practice, Varun Shankar of The Washington Post reports. The combo guard has missed the club's last three outings due to a hyperextended right elbow, though his presence at practice Friday bodes well for his status ahead of Saturday's game against Toronto. The Wizards are expected to provide more details on Poole's availability Friday afternoon. The 25-year-old has averaged 23.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.0 steals across 32.0 minutes per game in his last five outings.... See More ... See Less
