Santos tallied nine points (2-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-6 FT), three assists, three steals and two rebounds across 24 minutes in Brazil's 78-66 loss to France in the Paris Olympics on Saturday.
Santos is the only current NBA player on Brazil's Olympic roster, and he struggled in his Olympic debut against France on Saturday. The 22-year-old is coming off his rookie season with the Warriors, during which he averaged 3.6 points and 2.1 rebounds across 8.3 minutes in 23 regular-season games. Brazil is going to have an uphill battle in the group phase, and they will need guys to step up as the squad has yet to play both Japan and Germany.
