Trail Blazers' Anfernee Simons: Available, starting Friday

Simons (ankle) is available and will start at shooting guard in Friday's preseason finale versus the Jazz, Sean Highkin of RoseGardenReport.com reports.

Simons was inactive for Portland's previous exhibition game due to an ankle issue. His availability Friday indicates he is healthy and will be good to go when the regular season tips off Wednesday versus the Warriors. He is expected to start alongside Scoot Henderson in the Trail Blazers' backcourt this season.
