Edwards totaled 26 points (11-15 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-4 FT), three rebounds, three assists and two steals across 17 minutes in Team USA's 104-83 win over Puerto Rico in the Paris Olympics on Saturday.
Edwards was firing on all cylinders in the blowout win, and he also became the youngest player since Dwight Howard in 2008 to score 20-plus points for Team USA in the Olympics. The young star has been a top option for Team USA in the group phase, and he will likely continue to serve as a top contributor off the bench in the Olympic quarterfinals. Edwards averaged 16.7 points and 3.0 rebounds across 17.7 minutes per game in three group-stage appearances.
