Nets' Dennis Schroder: Modest production in loss Friday

Schroder closed with 12 points (3-11 FG, 1-5 3PT, 5-6 FT), three assists, two steals and one rebound in 35 minutes during Friday's 116-112 preseason loss to the Raptors.

Schroder played a team-high 35 minutes, delivering modest yet serviceable production. Coming into the regular season, Schroder will be battling with Ben Simmons for the starting point guard role. Both are worth taking a flyer on late in drafts, just in case either can establish themselves as the clear-cut choice. Simmons is also no stranger when it comes to injuries, meaning Schroder could simply land the role by default at some point.
