Brooklyn recalled Whitehead from the G League's Long Island Nets on Monday, Evan Barnes of Newsday reports.
With Dennis Schroder's (ankle) status for Monday's game against the Warriors to be determined, Whitehead has been called up to provide some emergency depth in the backcourt.
