Mavericks' Klay Thompson: Will play first half Thursday

Thompson will play around 15 to 18 minutes during the first half in Thursday's preseason contest against the Jazz, head coach Jason Kidd told Kevin Gray Jr. of AllDLLS.com.

Thompson didn't play in the preseason opener against the Grizzlies on Monday, but this game Thursday will be the first time he'll feature for the Mavericks. He'll play alongside Kyrie Irving, who has been cleared to play as well, but Luka Doncic (calf) has been ruled out.
