Williams (thumb) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Clippers, Grant Afseth of DallasHoopsJournal.com reports.
Williams has been battling a sprained left thumb and won't be cleared in time to face the Clippers on Thursday. Williams has appeared in just five NBA games this season, so his absence shouldn't have much rotational impact.
