Lakers' Russell Westbrook: Strong performance

Westbrook registered 24 points (9-15 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 6-8 FT), nine rebounds and nine assists over 32 minutes during Sunday's 113-107 loss to the Heat.

Westbrook shot over 50.0 percent from the field for his first such outing in nearly a month. He has shot a lowly 33.8 percent across 10 contests in January. Nonetheless, Westbrook was great Sunday, nearly accumulating a triple-double while only logging three turnovers. A prime-time showdown with the Nets is on deck Tuesday.
